Stove & Boiler Glass Cleaner

Remove any loose dust and dirt from the glass to be cleaned.

Shake can for at least 1 minute before use. Hold can upright about 15-20cm from surface and spray the foam onto the glass.

Wait a few moments for the liquid to penetrate the residues and then wipe the surface with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains may be more easily removed by combing use of the spray with a non-scratching dish scourer.

Heat Resistant Paint

Can be used as a single coat, or two coats finish on bare ferrous metal surfaces. Suitable for use on domestic stoves, furnace chimneys, industrial ovens and exhausts.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, millscale etc. Shake can for at least 1 minute before use. Hold can upright at 15-20cm from surface and spray with long even strokes. Allow to dry between coats. Several light coats will give a better finish than one heavy coat.

Low temperature/ high humidity will impair drying. Do not apply when the ambient temperature is below 5°C or RH exceeds 90%. Alternatively the paint may be stoved to fully cure for 20 minutes @200-220°C.

The paint film will harden once the article has been heated up for the first time. Drying time; Surface dry 15 minutes: Dry to handle 1 hour: The paint surface if air dried will become fully cured after the painted article has been heated up for the first time. Care must be taken with the paint film until this has occurred.

Use SmartCare High Temperature Glue to fix ceramic fibre and other high temperature resistant sealing materials to metal and glass surfaces in boiler, stove and room-heater doors.

Thoroughly clean the areas where the cement is to be applied and remove any dust, dirt and grease, using water if necessary. Apply the cement liberally with the brush provided. Depending on the application, it may be necessary to temporarily support the materials being bonded for a few hours.

Once seals are applied, it is not necessary to wait for SmartCare High Temperature Glue to dry before using the heating appliance.

Use to fix ceramic fibre and other high temperature resistant sealing materials to metal and glass surfaces in boiler, stove and room-heater doors. The adhesive is water soluble, dries slowly in air and rapidly when heat is applied. It will maintain an extremely strong bond at temperatures up to 1000°C.

Thoroughly clean the areas where the cement is to be applied and remove any dust, dirt and grease, using water if necessary. Apply the cement liberally with the brush provided. Depending on the application, it may be necessary to temporarily support the materials being bonded for a few hours.

Once seals are applied, it is not necessary to wait for Thermotite to dry before using the heating appliance.

Description
A ready mixed, air drying, silicate based material for use as a trowel applied joint filler where high temperature resistance, up to 1250 deg C, is required. The product dries to a hard, cement-like material with a good adhesion to many surfaces.
Applications
For sealing around pipework and flues in fireplaces, boilers, solid fuel burners and central heating systems. It is also available for replacing fire bricks.
Limitations
Flue Seal will not bond plastics materials, particularly where flexing may occur. Do not use the cement on joints exposed to wet conditions.
